Hugabee - Version 2.0

A while ago I had created this plush toy I called a Hugabee. Well I decided to change my design and bit and I came up with this. I'm so happy with the result and I plan to make a few more this week to put up in my shop. I named this guy Cruz. He's made of non-pill fleece and has green cotton fabric accents.

What a Crafty Weekend

It was nice to finally have a three day weekend to spend with my family. My husband was busy working on a chariot for our son and finally finished it Saturday evening. We took our son for a ride in it on Sunday and he loved it. I posted two pics below and I'll have some better photos to post on Flickr this week.


In other crafty news...I finally finished another owl. I named this one Keiko. She's available in my shop. I absolutely adore her!

Spring Cleaning

So I decided to do some cleaning up at our place tomorrow. Totally not what I would like to do on my day off, but I have to get it done. My mom is taking our son for the weekend, so we get a break. Not sure what I would do without her....Love you Mom :). Anyway I might actually redo my son's room and maybe fix up our room as well. I love change so hopefully all goes well, maybe I'll have some pics to show once I get everything done. Until then here are some pics of two new owls I made. Have a great weekend.

Mothers Day

I know Mothers Day has past, but I didn't get a chance to wish all the mommies out there a happy one and I hope it was. I can remember the day I found out I was pregnant, it was a total surprise. I was standing in my bathroom staring at the pregnancy test cursing up a storm! My husband was so happy and right away said it was a boy. Before I had my son, I was not looking forward to motherhood, but now that he's here, mommy hood has been the best ride of my life.

Etsy Treasury
I don't normally look in the treasury on Etsy. But today I was bored and decided to do some browsing and I came across this.

My Rita Owl was included in a treasury created by Earmark. I love the other items that were picked also, my favorite are those little red baby booties...too cute. You can see it better if you go here. Seeing this just made my day a lot better.

It's Only Thursday....

But when I look at the pic of my son "O" smiling, it just makes my day so much better. Hope you're having a wonderful day as well.
